Where we move
Moving Services Across Toronto, the GTA & Southern Ontario
Keep Moving is based in Toronto and serves homes and businesses across the GTA and Southern Ontario, with long-distance service across Ontario and to Quebec. Locations are organized geographically below — select a community for local moving details.
Toronto
Local and long-distance moving across the City of Toronto — from downtown condos and midtown apartments to houses in North York, Etobicoke and Scarborough. We plan around elevators, parking, permits and building rules so moving day stays on schedule.
Toronto
Local moving across Toronto, from downtown condos and midtown apartments to houses in every part of the city. We plan around elevators, parking, moving-day traffic and building rules so the move stays on schedule.
Downtown Toronto
Downtown Toronto moves for condos, apartments and offices across the core. We work around reserved elevators, loading docks and tight kerbside access.
Midtown Toronto
Midtown sits between the density of the core and the driveways of the suburbs, and moves here usually involve both. A morning can start in a mid-rise on Eglinton with a booked service elevator and finish at a century house on a narrow Davisville street where the truck has to stay on the road.
North York
North York covers everything from the tower cluster around Yonge and Sheppard to quiet post-war bungalows and large rebuilt homes on ravine lots. The practical difference for a move is loading: condos here are usually well set up for it, while many house moves involve long driveways, side entrances and split levels.

Greater Toronto Area
Moving services across the Greater Toronto Area — from Square One condos in Mississauga to family homes in Brampton, Vaughan and Markham. Straightforward highway access across the 401, 407 and 400-series corridors keeps GTA moves on schedule.
Mississauga
Mississauga is really several different moving environments in one city. The City Centre towers behave like downtown Toronto, the older lakeshore villages have narrow streets and mature trees, and the western subdivisions offer wide roads and double driveways where a full-size truck can back right up to the garage.
Brampton
Most Brampton moves are house moves, and they are often larger than the room count suggests: multi-generational households, finished basements in use as separate living space, and garages that have to be cleared as well. The upside is access — wide streets and double driveways mean loading is rarely the bottleneck.
Vaughan
Vaughan pairs two extremes: brand-new towers at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre with formal move-in rules, and large custom homes in Woodbridge and Kleinburg with long driveways, heavy furniture and finished lower levels. Sizing the crew correctly matters more here than in most parts of the GTA.
Markham
Markham combines a substantial residential base with one of the largest corporate clusters outside downtown Toronto, so weekday household moves and after-hours office relocations both feature heavily. Unionville's heritage streets and the newer high-density areas near Highway 7 have very different access rules.

Halton and Hamilton
Moving services across Halton Region and Hamilton — house moves, townhomes, condos and businesses from the lakeshore to the escarpment, with easy connections along the QEW, 403 and 401.
Oakville
Oakville moves tend to be house moves with more contents than average: larger homes, finished basements, and often artwork, wine storage or antiques that need dedicated packing. Older lakeside neighbourhoods add a parking constraint that the newer north Oakville subdivisions do not have.
Burlington
Burlington sees a high share of downsizing and retirement moves alongside standard family relocations, and the two need very different planning. Lakefront condo towers have formal booking rules, while the escarpment-side neighbourhoods bring sloped driveways and split-level layouts.
Milton
A large share of Milton moves involve new construction, which brings its own timing problems: closing dates that shift, builder key releases late in the day, and unfinished landscaping around the entrance. Planning around the handover is usually the difference between a smooth day and a stalled one.
Hamilton
Hamilton's geography drives its moves. The escarpment splits the city into lower and upper halves with limited access routes between them, and the lower city's century homes bring steep staircases and narrow doorways that determine how furniture actually gets out.

York, Simcoe and Durham
Moving services north and east of Toronto — York Region, Simcoe County and Durham Region. From new subdivisions to rural properties, we plan the right crew and truck for longer driveways, larger homes and highway moves along the 404, 400 and 401.
Oshawa
Oshawa moves split fairly evenly between established family homes, rental turnovers and the student market around the north end. Because much of Durham commutes west, moving days here often need to start early to avoid losing hours to 401 traffic.

Waterloo–Wellington
Moving services across the Waterloo–Wellington corridor — Guelph, Kitchener and Cambridge. Popular for family moves along the 401 and for students and professionals relocating between the GTA and the tech corridor.
Kitchener
Kitchener's moving calendar is unusually seasonal. The student cycle and the tech sector both concentrate demand into short windows, while the housing stock ranges from century homes in the older core to new towers along the ION light-rail corridor.
Guelph
Guelph's older core is built of stone and brick homes on compact lots, which makes access — not volume — the usual planning question. Add the university's turnover cycle and a steady flow of commuters moving in from the GTA, and scheduling matters as much as crew size.
