Terms of Service

Keep Moving Group Inc. (“Keep Moving,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides moving services in Canada. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Keep Moving website, requests for quotes, and moving services booked through us.

Certain Canada–USA cross-border moving services may be coordinated with our U.S. operations through Keep Moving Inc.

By using this website, requesting a quote or booking services with Keep Moving, you acknowledge these Terms of Service. Specific moving services are also subject to the written estimate, booking confirmation, bill of lading, service agreement and other documents applicable to your particular move.

Quotes and estimates

Website calculators and prices displayed online are provided for preliminary planning purposes only and do not constitute a final written estimate or moving contract.

A moving quote or estimate is based on the information provided by the customer, including the inventory, property type, access conditions, addresses, distance, requested services, crew requirements and other relevant details.

The final price is determined according to the written estimate, agreed scope of work and any authorized changes or additional services, subject to applicable consumer-protection laws.

Additional services and charges

Services or circumstances outside the originally agreed scope may increase the price of the move when properly disclosed and authorized as required by applicable law.

Additional charges may apply for services or circumstances including additional moving time, additional movers or trucks, packing or unpacking, packing materials, heavy or oversized items, specialty handling, additional pickup or delivery locations, long carries, stairs, difficult access, parking, tolls, ferry charges, storage, disposal services and other requested services.

Customers should disclose heavy, oversized, fragile, valuable or specialty items before moving day so appropriate staffing, equipment and pricing can be determined.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information concerning their move.

Customers should disclose relevant information concerning inventory, specialty items, property access, stairs, elevators, parking restrictions, loading restrictions and other conditions that could affect the move.

Customers are also responsible for obtaining any necessary building access, elevator reservations and parking arrangements unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Booking and scheduling

Submitting a quote request through the website does not constitute a confirmed booking.

A move is confirmed only after Keep Moving provides the applicable booking confirmation and any required booking conditions have been satisfied.

Pickup, arrival and delivery times may be provided as estimated windows rather than guaranteed exact times unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellation, rescheduling and deposit requirements are governed by the terms provided with the customer's written estimate or booking confirmation.

Customers should review those conditions before confirming their move.

Delays and conditions outside our control

Moving schedules may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical issues, building restrictions, elevator availability, border processing, government inspections and other circumstances outside the reasonable control of the moving company.

Keep Moving will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes affecting a scheduled move.

Canada–USA cross-border moves

Cross-border moves are subject to customs, immigration, transportation and other governmental requirements.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and documents required for their shipment and for complying with applicable customs requirements.

Customs inspections, admissibility decisions, clearance, duties, taxes and processing times are determined by governmental and border authorities and are outside Keep Moving's control.

Keep Moving cannot guarantee a particular border-clearance time.

Certain prohibited or restricted items cannot be transported across the border.

Keep Moving does not provide immigration, legal or tax advice.

Items we may not transport

Certain hazardous, illegal, prohibited or restricted materials may not be transported.

Customers must disclose potentially restricted items before the move. Additional restrictions may apply to Canada–USA cross-border shipments.

Loss or damage

Claims concerning loss or damage to household goods are governed by the applicable written moving agreement, bill of lading, valuation or liability provisions, insurance arrangements where applicable, and applicable law.

Customers should review the applicable coverage and liability terms provided for their move before services begin.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Website information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate and current. However, website information, pricing examples, calculators, route information and other general content may be changed or updated from time to time.

Information provided on the website does not replace the written terms applicable to an individual move.

Privacy and communications

Personal information submitted through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

When a customer submits a form and provides the required consent, Keep Moving may contact the customer by phone, email or text regarding the inquiry or requested services.

Applicable law

Moving services are subject to the laws, regulations and consumer protections applicable to the jurisdiction in which the services are provided.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive a customer's statutory rights where those rights cannot legally be excluded, restricted or waived.

Changes to these terms

Keep Moving may update these website Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes to our website, services or legal requirements.

The version applicable to a specific booked move may also be governed by the terms provided in the customer's written estimate, booking confirmation, bill of lading or service agreement.
